INHALED DRUG DELIVERY -

***FORMERLY PORTABLE INHALERS***

The last 12 to 18 months has probably seen more significant changes in the Inhaled Drug Delivery business than for a long time and that will shape it for the next 5 to 10 years. This conference will form a cornerstone in examining some of these events. This new conference has come at a very timely period in the evolution of inhaled therapies; it will provide a real opportunity to understand the current health of the inhaled delivery industry.

Comments from Joint Chairman Steve Nichols' re. the IDD Course

"Management Forum has been running the successful 'Portable Inhalers' conference series for 15 years. During this time major changes in formulation and delivery technologies, medicinal products, regulatory and quality requirements have occurred. These changes are such that the previous focus of 'Portable Inhalers' has to evolve into a new, bigger and better conference - Inhaled Drug Delivery (IDD. IDD will focus on current issues and technologies, with a significant contribution on the changing regulatory scene. We are very excited about this evolutionary leap and believe it will provide a much needed new approach to assist in product development knowledge and networking opportunities".
