The worldwide vaccine industry has been estimated to be worth in excess of  $10 billion per annum with many of these products being in the market place for decades. 

More recently, however, the industry is moving into new territory with:

• Novel cell based manufacture of traditional Virus vaccines
• Viral vectors have also shown the strongest evidence of becoming the first   licensed Gene Therapy product
• New products for emerging disease

Both Viral Vaccines and Viral Vectors although very different in their mode of action, share many difficulties in the BioSafety testing requirements, to assure the safety of products.

This conference will discuss the above issues and potential solutions, using case studies and industry experts.
