  • Determinants of distribution and clearance
  • Oral drug administration
  • Intravenous infusion and multiple dosing
  • Distribution dynamics, concentration- and time-dependent kinetics
  • Linking pharmacokinetics to pharmacodynamics
  • In vitro - in vivo extrapolation

Speaker: Geoff Tucker, Emeritus Professor of Clinical Pharmacology, University of Sheffield and Chairman of Simcyp Ltd, Sheffield UK.

INTRODUCTION

This two-day course is intended to provide a basic knowledge and understanding of the main principles and concepts of pharmacokinetics and their application in drug discovery and development. The lectures will be
interspersed with workshop problem solving sessions.

There will be equations, but they will be small ones!

Please note: Delegates should bring a scientific calculator.
